Preschool Lead Teachers

Hello! My name is Colleen Keegan. I am an NAU Alumni and I graduated from NAU in 2000. I have a B.S. in Elementary Education. I have 11 year’s experience working with preschool age children. I spent 8 1/2 years at Peace Lutheran Preschool, 6 months at The Ark Preschool and I have been at Kingdom Kids for 2 years now. I am married with two children. I have lived in Flagstaff for 24 years. I teach the 4 and 5 year old children at Kingdom Kids. I teach language arts, math, art and Bible. I love teaching this age because of their natural curiosity and there are lots of things that they are able to do. We have a lot of fun doing circle time, a variety of center activities, singing, playing games, learning about God and Jesus and making friendships. The children are sweet, funny, intelligent and kind and it has been my joy and privilege to be their teacher. I look forward to meeting your child soon.

My name is Nadia Carvajal. I am the lead teacher in the Pre-K three year old class. I was born in Anaheim, California and raised in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. I come from a family of 5 and I am the middle child. I moved to Flagstaff, Arizona when I decided to pursue my bachelor’s degree at Northern Arizona University. I graduated in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary and Special Education. I chose this major because working with children is my passion. Every day is a different day and there is never a dull moment. Flagstaff stole my heart and I made the decision to stay after graduating. My hobbies include anything outdoors, dancing, listening to music, cooking and spending time with family and friends.
